Destination 01

Uganda — not one experience, but a rhythm.

Mountains, forests, lakes, wildlife, cities, food and daily life. The Kura idea is to let these layers speak to each other.

Why Uganda

A country to move through, not rush across.

The original Kura strategy begins from a simple observation: many travellers know Uganda for wilderness, while far less information reaches them about the texture of everyday life. Kura’s role is to bridge that gap.

Safari remains the lead. Around it, food, movement, time and local connection transform the trip from a sequence of sights into something more lasting.

Forests & primates

Gorilla and chimp trekking sit naturally inside Kura’s movement-led approach.

Lakes & highlands

Lake Bunyonyi appears in the source as a setting for hiking, cycling and canoeing.

Kampala & food

Walking tours, food tours and cooking create a bridge between the existing brand history and the new master brand.

Uganda first. East Africa later.

The site architecture is ready to add Kenya and Tanzania when Kura is operationally ready, without diluting the Uganda-first positioning now.
